Santi
Background
Santi is a Western-style izakaya in Tel Aviv, offering a modern take on Japanese dining in a casual space.
Goal
To express fine dining through a relaxed, approachable tone. visually clean, modern, and appetizing.
Challenge
Designing a brand that merges minimalism with warmth and elegance, in a clean and authentic visual language.

Research & Inspiration
I conducted visual research focused on Izakaya culture - Japanese restaurants known for their balance between precision and a casual atmosphere.
I explored the local Tel Aviv food scene, understanding the target audience and the core values the client wanted to express: quality, aesthetics, and a blend of tradition with a modern twist.

Concept Development
I developed a visual concept that combines contemporary minimalism with traditional touches.
The design emphasized simplicity, elegant typography, and a muted color palette with contrasts.
Visual Language Creation
I created a logo based on clear geometric lines with subtle emotional depth, accompanied by a natural and clean color palette, sharp typography, and graphic elements based on principles of balance, spacing, and visual harmony.

The Outcome
A full branding system that is clean, precise, and modern - while still feeling soulful and approachable.
The visual language was applied consistently across all brand touchpoints, from printed menus to signage and digital presence.
Every element was designed with the customer experience in mind, reflecting the atmosphere, spatial experience, and high culinary standard the restaurant offers.
